Saying Harlan has a glowing personality is quite possibly the understatement of the century. We did some shots for her "golden birthday," which is the birthday that you turn the age of the date that you were born (i.e. mine occured when I was four, as I was born on the 4th of the month). I feel somewhat robbed that I was unaware of my golden birthday as a mere 4-year-old. Who knew it was such a celebrated milestone in one's life? Regardless, Harlan's will surely be brilliant enough to make up for mine. Fun doesn't even begin to describe my fiery friend...she's probably the most lively people I've ever met and her laugh lights up the whole damn northern hemisphere. Not a molecule in my body would be opposed to snapping shots of her over and over again :).
